Street Plays Held at Uttan Bhayandar
Street plays were conducted by Mr. Maxwell Rose at Uttan Bhayandar to conscientize the masses on their rights and responsibilities as citizens. These street plays have been very effective in putting forth the reality before the people which provoked them to realize that in a 
democracy it is very important that people's views and needs are to taken into consideration.
The street plays also enabled the people to think about changing their lives for the better through their active participation in the electoral process and electing a responsible government. One of the performers expressed that he was now more confident to face a gathering of people
and express his views confidently. While another exclaimed, “it was an eye opener, I was living in a false world, now I know the social realities in which I exist and my responsibilities towards the same”.
